主要致力于对细菌分子生物学和感染性疾病的研究,包括:
1. 铜绿假单孢菌耐药机理,致病基因表达调控;
2. 宿主的先天免疫中的信号传导;
3. 铜绿假单孢菌疫苗的研发。

研究成果:
天津市青年高层次人才项目、南开大学百名青年学术带头人入选者。从事病原细菌及免疫的研究,主要研究内容有:致病菌耐药机理研究;致病菌毒性基因的表达调控及作用机制;宿主在感染过程中的免疫反应。发现并阐明了一系列新型毒力因子、抗生素耐药及持留菌相关基因的功能和调控机制。近年来在国际主流杂志Nucleic Acids Res, mBio, Nature Communications等杂志发表论文50多篇。
